We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast at the Balthazar Design Hotel… what a great stay we had.. Location of Hotel is fantastic for making it your base in Krakow, The Castle is literally next door and the main square a 10 minute stroll away. We arrived later than planned due to delay with travel arrangements and arranged breakfast for the next morning to be available on a take away basis as we had a 6am pick up for a tour booked the next morning, it was no issue and was ready and waiting for us a reception. The hotel was definitely up there in terms of quality, lovely rooms with ‘quirky’ but beautiful decor, lovely bathroom and quality Milton Brown bathroom essentials. Super comfortable beds, room safe and nice touch of a welcome drink on arrival in the room. Special shout out to ‘Asia’ who hosted breakfast in the Fiorentina restaurant and the service she provided was excellent, went out of her way to ensure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was table service and multiple combinable options from omelettes, pancakes, cereals, choice of breads and continental meats and cheeses and all delightfully presented and cooked to order. After a smooth check out, the hotel assisted us with a tour of Krakow by golf buggy , which wanted to do before our evening flight home. Picked up from the hotel and arranged in 10mins!. This property is perfection in every way. From the location to the magnificent apartment to the superior attention from the staff. It made our time in Krakow over the top.

Clean good size room. Bed came down from the ceiling. Great location walkable to the main sites. Having a drinking water facility in the lobby with water jugs to take to your room was very helpful

The hotel is ideally located for exploring and being close to local amenities. Our room overlooked the main street, but was very quiet and nice to look down onto. Our room (a standard queen) was large, with a sofa and nice bathroom. We used the spa multiple times - the pool, sauna, hot tub etc were free to use up until 10pm. They provide towels and slippers and lockers free of charge. We didn't use the restaurant but had the water out of the mini bar (go over the road to the local Carrefour express - much cheaper!). We also used reception to book our tours (Auschwitz and Salt Mine) in advance of our arrival which was very straight forward. We have already recommended this hotel to family and would definitely stay again. Clean, spacious, great location and helpful staff. All round win.
